Step 1: Unpack your corals. Float the bags for 15 to 20 minutes to match the temperature of the coral in the bag to your aquarium temperature.
Step 2: Cut open the bag. Place the water and the coral into a container. Gradually add your aquarium water into the container. It is recommended to use a slow drip tube. Provide 30 to 45 minutes for this step
Step 3: Transfer your corals into a container of a known volume size with all of your aquarium's water.
Step 4: Dip your coral specimen using your preferred medication. Pest control is a top priority for any reef aquarium. While Nemo’s Reef has taken extreme precaution in cleaning, dipping and providing a healthy specimen, we recommend dipping any new additions.
Step 5: Use a turkey baster, or holding the coral, allow for water to move between the coral bases and crevices by moving water rapidly.
Step 6: After a directed amount of time, rinse your coral in a small container of fresh aquarium water.
Step 4: Place your coral in the recommended lighting and flow arrangements. We recommend placing corals in a lower light area at first to allow light acclimation.
